At St.Peter’s in Babraham (a grade 2* listed church near Cambridge) roof repairs and upgrading of weathering details is following on from the conversion of the north porch into a much needed accessible WC and catering station. This has opened up a range of possibilities such as the use of the church for public concerts and for school groups.
At St. Peter’s in Petersham, Richmond, a complete re-roofing and the removal of cement render and pointing in the chancel was followed by the restoration of important seventeenth century monuments and wall plaques. An extension into the church yard provides a hall used by local charities and community support groups, proper WC and catering facilities and level access into the church.
